| Telling people about myself has never been one of my strong points. Considering I don't live that fantastic life, unless you think boring is a lifestyle. You should know my name by now. Now that we got that cleared away, here goes: My life started with poetry and literature when I was young. I have no clue where it all began, but somehow it all manifested into art and then morphed into photography. When I was a kid I read this magazine called CARtoons. The magazine itself was chocked full of drawings of muscle cars, mostly resembling the Rat Fink style drawings. I started drawing cars,derr. Years later, high school came along. I attended one semester of Art Class, that's all it took for me, because I didn't like their attitudes toward art and popularity contests. "We as humans should not dwell on who's the best, but help those with talent to become the best." That's my philosophy on that subject. 1999 - 2000!! The year I went to school for Information Systems, well computers. All I can say, I hate math! Its also the year I got my hands on Photoshop 5 and started messing around with photomanipulation. I wish I could show you those pictures but.... Needless to say, lightning struck that computer down. Srsly!! I also regret not joining deviantART then as well. 2001, so I signed up for Photography I, bought me a K-1000 35mm and feel in love with the meaning: "A picture is worth a thousand words." I also learned how to develop my own film in the darkroom and that class was strictly B/W. It wasn't til 2005 my life changed. Had a bad car accident involving a epileptic seizure and lost my job. Signed up for Photography II. Bought me a Nikon 35mm (damn I should of got a digital) camera. My cousin built me a computer from scratch and a close friend bought me Photoshop CS2. Then I joined deviantART under the alias: ~jpfrizzle Well.... The rest is history being made. |
